Susan Director

Susan Director is the President of Director Door Ind., Ltd. Since 2003, Susan has built DDI into the trusted name it is today. Susan was one of the first women business owners on Long Island to be certified WBE in the field of general contracting and construction. She attributes her strong reputation in the industry to her keen attention to detail and passion for customer satisfaction.

In addition, Susan is the chairperson of the “Jimmy Director Scholarship Fund”, which provides opportunities for high school graduates to learn a vocational trade. Susan is an alumni of Hofstra University.

Scott Director

Scott Director is the VP of Operations at Director Door Ind., Ltd and a third-generation “door man.” With over 18 years of project management experience Scott has personally closed and managed more than 100 million dollars worth of high-profile jobs.

In addition, Scott maintains a daily hand in overseeing the entire project management, estimating, and sales teams. His enthusiasm for the door, frame and hardware business has brought DDI to a new level of excellence. Scott is a graduate of Syracuse University, where he received his Bachelors of Science from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications.
